Advanced Wildlife Control team celebrates 15 Years in wildlife removal and prevention in NH and Maine Seacoast, NH Lakes Region, and surrounding areas. 

Dover, NH – April 01, 2022- Fifteen years ago, Founder, Mike Ring, took April Fools on headfirst to become the New Hampshire and Maine Seacoast, Lakes Regions, and Surrounding region’s Critter Getter Official.  

The business, Advanced Wildlife Control, Inc., a New Hampshire-based business that specializes in wildlife removal, control, and prevention services, was initially founded in 1985 and purchased by Mike in 2007.  

Over the past 15-years, the team has learned how to strategically chart wildlife patterns to quickly uncover both their entry and exit points in the properties they service. The team has been fortunate to support homeowners, real-estate agents like the Bean Group and companies like: Eversource, Walmart, Liberty Mutual, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, East Brown Cow and more.  

“Fifteen years ago, I set out on a mission to grow this small business with a job that I love picking a date that really reflected some characters of the profession” reflected Mike Ring, Owner and Operator of Advanced Wildlife Control, Inc. “A good sense of humor is a must in this industry.  We get calls from customers, often coping with stressful situations and wildlife encounters. From a bat (or several) flying around the house, never mind a colony in the attic or flying squirrels chewing on wires and making a mess of the exterior and interior to a groundhog thief in the garden, to birds invading and damaging parking garages, rooftops, and everything in-between, we have seen it all.  The importance is making sure customers feel at ease, and often humor is part of the remedy.”  

The team has grown over the past year and some of the most common faces (or voices) that were recognized in the community already include Miranda, who manages all customer relations for the company and is the voice of reason for the team.  Callers typically hear her calming voice first. The “other Mike”, Mike B. is a customer favorite and often seen at localized homeowner calls bat removal, squirrel removal, trapping and other prevention services.    

With more people at home over the past 2-years, the company identified more people were realizing they were not alone.  Calls for scratching in walls and for wildlife eviction and prevention as well as trapping, including the dreaded skunk or porcupine encounter resolutions to safeguard pets and prevent garden vegetable thievery were on the rise and the company needed to add team members to support the growing number of calls.  

The team has been fortunate to connect with community members, both in-person and virtually supporting homeowners, businesses, and some great causes along the way like GoodWork, an organization dedicated to supporting and strengthening greater seacoast nonprofits. They look forward to more growth in the coming years and becoming the household name for Critter Getters! 

The Advanced Wildlife social media marketing team has become well known for weekly critter getter shenanigans with outtakes, videos, memes and even some fast facts to help lighten the mood and give some great information for business owners, homeowners, homebuyers and sellers.  

The team is trained and insured with both commercial and residential properties to remove squirrels, bats, skunks, woodchucks, rodents, birds including geese, and other critters. They consult on recurring wildlife management, manage site cleanup, damage repair, and prevention strategies.
